Narcotics Police stations function under the overall supervision and administrative control of the Director, TSNAB and functional control of respective Commissioners of Police, who shall extend all the necessary support to the Narcotics Police Stations. These police stations shall exercise powers of a Police Station within the meaning of Section 2(s) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. An officer of the Rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) shall be designated as the Station House Officer.
